Modular experience

This week, the students of the Expert in Periodontics and Implantology  have continued to advance in their training.

This third module of the eighteen that make up the course, has taken place from Monday, January 14th through Thursday, January 17th and has been dedicated to causal treatment.

In it, doctors Estefanía Laguna, Mercedes López, Ramón Lorenzo, María Mínguez and Fabio Vignoletti have proposed a review of the literature, clinical and biologic results, an evaluation of systemic and local antibiotics, antiseptics, and have gone in-depth in the anatomy of periodontal tissues and their healing.

The students have practiced radicular smoothing with typodonts and have attended different surgeries performed by doctors Lorenzo and Vignoletti, clinical directors of PerioCentrum Madrid.

As the course continues, students become more confident and improve their clinical vision from a multidisciplinary point of view. Something that they have demonstrated in the different classes and residences that they have shared these days in different clinics of the group.

This training from PerioCentrum Academy will continue to increase and consolidate in the following modules.

The next one will be from February 4th to 7th and is planned as a first contact with the periodontal treatment.
